Time to RE-Focus...

After a long week of partying and celebrating birthdays, I have to get back on schedule. I haven't been over eating this week. Even at the buffet on Thursday...I did pretty good. I just need to get back to my exercise this week. The weekend was full of one too many drinks which I'm sure were plenty calories. But...back to my water and exercise routine. I already know I will miss out on the gym on Wednesday for the circus so I will try to walk during lunch. I'm back at it and pushing forward!

Slow and steady...

Setting goals and accomplishments...
First off... I sucessfully walked a 5K last Saturday with my aunt. My mom also made it an entire mile. She hasn't been able to walk that much in a long time. Kayleigh even made it 2 miles...but I did the whole thing. =) What a great famil day!

Now to goals...I have been doing pretty good. I have only lost 2 pounds so far, but I have more energy. I have been drinking water every day and adding more fruits and veggies to my diet. Next week...i need to drink even more water (to get up to the daily suggested amount) and eat even more fruits and veggies. Derick has been trying to and eating good things with me (at times). Auntie wants us to go bike riding so I need to get a bike. She also mentioned me joining Weight Watchers. I did it before and lost about 23 pounds. It's a good program...I just got a lil bored. Hopefully, doing the program with someone else will keep me involved. We will see. I will report in soon with any changes or update =)

Let's get it started!

Ok...im really going to try to re-commit to my plan to get this weight off. I have support at work and support at home. So gotta get started. I weigh the most I have ever weighed in my life...267 pounds. I wasn't even that big when i was pregnant with Kayleigh. Im changing eating habits and I am no longer wasting my gym membership. I plan on working out here or the gym or at work AT LEAST 5 times a week. I am going to get to my goals. First goal is to lose about 20 pounds so that I can comfortably fit into this cool shirt that Derick bought me when he assumed I wasn't that fat. Lol. Here goes! Hope to drop under 200 sooner rather than later =)
